Liam didn’t return to the room later that night which made Amelia worried and restless.

The next morning at the dining Brianna stared at the couple in front of her, she noticed that they were even more distant than yesterday.

Amelia turned towards Brianna dropping her cutleries. “You see mum, I also want to know, I told a man that I loved him but he didn’t reply instead he left the room and didn’t appear all through the night!”

“Well I have no explanations” he shrugged which annoyed Amelia.

“Mum do you see his attitude? so arrogant!”

Brianna nodded her head in understanding, these two needed time to fix their relationship.

“Well you two need time to understand each other better that’s why I’ve arranged for your honeymoon trip which is tomorrow”

“What?!” Liam and Amelia stared at Brianna in wonderment.

“I’ve been planning this all week, and I don’t want to hear any form of excuse”

Brianna gasped for air acting holding her chest “I don’t know how much time I have left but…….

She gasped continuously while Liam and Amelia exchanged a brief glance.

“Don’t worry mum” She stabbed her steak maintaining eye contact with Liam “I’ll go on the said trip”

Amelia opened the closet mumbling to herself while packing her clothes into a pink luggage, Liam glanced up from his laptop.

He had to work from home because of the trip, he was on a business call but a lady keeps making noises.

“I’m sure he likes another lady that’s the reason he is behaving strangely with me! I know that because he is on a video call with that same lady”

Liam took a brief glance at her and shook his head slowly he resisted the urge to laugh out at her behavior.

“Chloe came down from the bed and sat on Amelia’s luggage. “Big sis if you two leave who will I stay with?”

Amelia touched Chloe’s cheeks pulling it a little “Hmm little cutie I know the lady who can take care of you till I get back”

“You two keep your voice down I’m busy over here” Liam scolded.

“Of course you are busy talking to a lady I just hope your signal don’t get crossed” She mumbled pulling off the wifi connection. “Oops it did” she added in sarcasm.

Liam stared at her in unbelief, he placed his laptop on the sofa and turned back to her “I was on a business call with a lady is anything wrong with that? stop acting jealous”

Amelia bit her lower lip in embarrassment, it seems she misunderstood him.

“You are heartless Liam, you know what? maybe your mum did me a huge favor by arranging our honeymoon trip I would use that opportunity to look for a handsome young man to spend my life with”

Louisa admired the dishes on her small dining table. She picked up her cutlery to dig in when she heard the door bell. “Of course! what a good timing” She snorted sarcastically.

She reluctantly got up from her seat moving to the door.

“Hello” Dylan greeted helping himself into the apartment, Louisa stared at his back in surprise. ‘Just when did we get so close for him to visit me every now and then’ she thought inwardly.

“Hmm I’ll definitely have breakfast here” he concluded taking a seat as he sniffed the air.

“Umm hello, it’s the weekend and what excuse do you have this time to be here?” She asked with her hands folded.

Dylan shrugged taking a bite out of his fork ” I have every reason to visit you”

Louisa lifted a brow, what reasons does a boss have to visit his employee at home so early.

“You know the only reasons that I’m talking to you is because you are my boss and you are Liam’s friend”

Dylan’s fork stopped mid air, that was harsh however he didn’t let that stop him from eating his meal.

“I need your help okay?”

“If it’s not work related stuff consider me out!” Louisa grumbled.

“Come to my house tomorrow night to have dinner” He said more like an order.

Louisa grabbed the table knife on the table pointing it to his throat. “Listen Dylan I’m not at your company don’t expect me to give you the same respect I give you at the office and to crown it all I’m not going to make it I’m seeing a movie with Jake tomorrow night”

Dylan relaxed back on his seat staring at her slightly annoyed face. “I don’t mind dying at your hands, your eyes is enough to send me to the seventh heaven”

“If you flirt with me I’ll beat you up!” She seconded.

“What if you don’t have a choice? I mean what if Jake can’t make it tomorrow or any other day?”

Louisa’s lips parted in wonderment, this guy was really something, did he plan on harming Jake?

“Do you plan on killing him? if anything happens to my boyfriend I’ll hold you responsible”

Dylan shrugged, his mind was made up already tomorrow night Louisa will have dinner at his house and that is final.

“I hope your boyfriend doesn’t mind? I will definitely spend most of my time here today!”

Angie held Nicholas arm pulling him out of the apartment with her. “You brought her home? have you gone mad?”

Nicholas threw his face to the other side avoiding her gaze. “Mum you couldn’t do anything to Liam all these years now I know exactly what to do and please don’t try to stop me”

Angie smacked his head a little “Just tell me where the switch controlling your brain is located at let me see if it’s broken!” She scorned pulling his head downward.

“you fool! do you know what you’ve done? you released Liam’s captive do you plan on taking her place at the asylum as well?”

Nicholas rolled his eyes at his mum, she wasn’t getting the point or maybe because she hasn’t seen Jane’s new found crazy side yet!.

“All you have to do is watch! I’ve done my part the only thing remaining Is for Jane to finish her part, and by that I mean Liam’s complete elimination” Nicholas stressed every words.

“Are you planning on killing your brother?!”
