Amelia struggled to release her arm from Liam’s grip. “You are hurting me Liam!”

Liam released her arm immediately they got outside. “What on earth are you doing here?”

Amelia threw her face to the other side avoiding his eyes. “Oh were you eavesdropping? then I guess you don’t like the way I spoke to your soon to be brother in law”

Liam sighed, she was really unbelievable at times. “Will you just quit acting jealous?”

“Then what are you doing here?” he said folding his arm.

“Well I came here to return the money your grandfather gave to me, his offer was too little so I tried to negotiate with him”.

Liam raised his brow still not getting what she was trying to convey, and what money was she talking about?

“What money?”

“Well your grandad offered me a whooping amount of three hundred million in cash to leave you for Allison”

Liam let out a sigh of relief, he was glad that she chose to refuse the money.

“but I didn’t accept it because I demanded for five hundred million you see?” Amelia added.

Liam’s once smiling face freezed and Amelia was the one enjoying the reactions on his face. “Well I just hope he agrees to my demand on time, oh! I almost forgot I have a date so see you some other time” she said with a teasing grin before walking to her car.

Liam was unable to move away from his current position all that kept resounding in his ears were Amelia’s last words. Would she really leave him if offered that amount of money?

James and Steven exchanged meaningful gazes, before they arrived at Liam’s company Dylan already warned them about cracking annoying jokes. But it seemed the two had blocks In place of ears.

“Why are they here?” Liam asked obviously irritated by their presence. These two were the worst combinations ever, Dylan shook his head in denial of them.

“Who else do you expect to be here? do you really think Dylan will be able to give you a solution to your problem? this dude even sucks more than you when it comes to the matter of the heart”

Dylan’s lips twitched, James wasn’t wrong, he really sucks a lot when it comes to love he only used to be a playboy, he used to be the one to break girls heart but everything changed when he fell for Louisa. It was love at first sight.

“Look you both need to man up and tell the ladies you like your feelings, or perhaps I should do it for you? I mean Liam’s wife is so hot and pretty maybe I should go for her”.

Dylan turned to James “Do you really think that this is the right time for all these annoying joke? I warned you both…

“Save all those energy for Louisa! don’t lecture us” Steven chipped in before Dylan could finish.

The two stared at each other in awe and surprise although this wasn’t the first time they were being thrown out of Liam’s company.

The guards pulled them up from their seat taking them out. “Come on Liam we are your friends!” Steven said struggling a bit with the huge guard who hoisted him over his shoulder like a bag of nothing.

“I haven’t even made a toast yet!”

Silence returned back to the office once more, Dylan’s smiling face turned serious once more. “Liam you know what James said was right I really suck when it comes to this”.

Liam tugged his tie several times, just thinking about what Amelia said to him a while ago seemed to disturb him a lot.

“I really don’t understand what is going on in her crazy head, she sets herself up on blind dates….

Dylan resisted the urge to laugh, he didn’t want to be kicked or carried out by those huge guards. “What do you expect? she is clearly hurt, the least you can do is to tell her about Fred”

Liam shook his head objecting the idea “No! I know how crazy she can get, she would really provoke Fred’s anger, I could have stopped him if I wanted but my wife is involved so I have to think with a cool head”.

There was a knock on the door before it pushed open. “Boss we’ve tracked ma’am’s location like you wanted she is currently at a restaurant”..

Amelia stared at the weird guy in front of her, she lazily sipped her juice. ‘Why can’t I find any guy more handsome than Liam?’ she said inwardly.

“You know I love watching your movies I’m a huge fan of your work!……..

Amelia massaged her head, this creepy guy just wouldn’t stop praising her, he didn’t even let her say anything.

“okay thank you I’ll contact you later” the young man stood up and left.

“Next!” she called out softly while ticking out his name out of her list.

Someone else took over the seat where the other guy just got up from.

Amelia tapped her chin still focused on her notepad. “Geez when will a perfect guy just walk in through that door and sit here?”

“Hmm you can go on to say your name!”. she mumbled loud enough for the person in front of her to hear.

“Liam Grayson”.

Amelia raised her head from her notepad when she heard his familiar masculine voice.

Her jaw dropped in utter surprise,

Liam let out a roguish grin which brightened his face.

Amelia looked around, good thing she booked this whole restaurant for her dates if not another huge scandal will be created. “Mr Arrogant? what are you doing here? as you can see I’m really busy please leave now my last date is on his way here”

Amelia squinted her eyes at him feeling lost “What do you mean?”

Liam pointed at her notepad. “why don’t you check for yourself”.

Amelia pointed at the last name on her notepad “your name isn’t here this name here says L. G” she murmured which immediately dawned on her.

Liam’s lips carved a teasing smile while he watched her turn to different shades of red.
