The flash of viciousness stunned Clark. If Felix had not given him the pen recorder, he would never

expect a woman who loved her son so much to have such a callous gaze.

If she were the one who had pulled off Thomas’ oxygen mask, what was her purpose in doing that?

Clark suppressed his distress and anger to look at Bradley and ask gently, “Mr. Bradley, before you get

married to Ms. Anstey, should you divorce Ms. Quill first?”

Liliane looked at Clark gratefully upon hearing what he asked. Although she had been by Bradley’s side

all these years as Felix’s birth mother, they were raising him at most.

Liliane was well aware that Bradley regarded her because she was Felix’s biological mother. Given the

man’s heartlessness, he would not spare her a glance if she were not the boy’s birth mother.

All these years, she and her parents had been playing good guys and bad guys, respectively.

Her mother had pressured Bradley to marry her, but he rejected it indirectly, claiming that Esther was

still in prison and they were unable to complete the divorce procedure at the office.

Now that Esther was released, Liliane hoped that Bradley could divorce the b*tch as soon as possible.

Only then would she be the official Mrs. Warner.

“No need for the has sle.” Bradley said cruelly, “I’ll be widowed very soon.”

As an adult, Clark felt a chill down his spine upon hearing Bradley’s words, let alone Felix who heard

them. He calmly held the boy’s hand and comforted the poor child with the warmth of his palm.

“Ms. Anstey, talk to Mr. Bradley. Ms. Quill is Mr. Felix’s savior, after all. For Mr. Felix’s men tal health,

Mr. Bradley shouldn’t-

Before Clark finished his sentence, Liliane hugged Bradley’s arm and looked up to say delicately, ”

Brad, Esther’s quite pitiful for losing her daughter. We-”

“Stop mentioning her!” Bradley remembered the set of digits “99.99%” without a forewarning.

The DNA paternity test was proven with scientific data. Tink erbell was his biological daughter.

Even when he hated and resented Esther, he would never be ruthless to his own blood as a man.

Liliane was startled and widened her eyes, asking in surprise, “Brad, I-‘

“Do not mention Esther Quill’s name in front of me from now on,” Bradley said and glanced at Clark

coldly before softening his tone to tell Liliane, “I’ll send you back.”

“O-Okay!”

Liliane had never forgotten to keep up a good motherly façade in front of Bradley. She looked at Clark

sincerely. “Clark, please look after Felix.”

Bradley walked off in a large stride, and Liliane had to jog in her high heels to catch up to him.

“Brad, walk slower. My feet hurt.”

Bradley suppressed the annoyance deep in his heart and halted his steps, only entering the elevator

together when Liliane came over.

Bradley’s parents had passed away when he was very young. Even when his grandfather gave him all

the love he could, it could not replace the love from his parents. Although he had never mentioned it,

he envied children whose parents spent a lot of time with them.

He did not want his son to experience what he had gone through. He hoped that Felix’s childhood

could become his most treasured possession.

“I’ll ask Cole to pick out a few designers for you. Your shoes will be tailor-made by them from now on.

Liliane was pleasantly surprised. She looked at Bradley in astonishment and asked softly, “Will that be

too much trouble?”

“My woman deserves the best of everything in this world.”
