Chapter 1384 Return It To Me Tonight

Chapter 1384 Return It To Me Tonight

Despite her enthusiasm, Jerry remained indifferent and glanced over lazily. “Didn't you leave already?”

“I didn't leave. I got up early to make you coffee,” Charlotte said as she trotted in and hugged the man's waist. “I also ordered your favorite breakfast. Aren't I amazing?”

“Yes, you are.”

Charlotte was very dissatisfied with his perfunctory response. “Jerry, have you fallen in love with another woman? You're treating me so coldly. Tell me, where else can you find a girlfriend who wakes up early just to make you coffee?”

“Didn't I say you were amazing? When was I ever cold to you?” Jerry simply turned his head to speak to her. “Or do you think I didn't 'perform' well enough last night, and you weren't satisfied?”

As her legs ached and were still sore, Charlotte didn't want him to punish her in bed again.

She pouted and argued, “You used to praise me and kiss me, but now you don't even want to kiss me. If that's not being cold to me, then what is it?”

Jerry bent down and moved closer to her. “Would you want me to kiss you with the shaving foam?”

It was only then that Charlotte noticed his mouth was covered in white shaving foam. She quickly pushed him away and picked up the razor from the sink to help him shave his beard. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

Upon seeing Jerry's handsome face, Charlotte couldn't help but think that he would definitely look dashing and manly with a beard.

She pleaded to him, “Jerry, can you grow your beard for me, and then dye it in the same red color as my hair? It'll definitely be eye-catching.”

She couldn't help but laugh when she thought of the image of Jerry's beard dyed red.

“Why should I listen to you?” Jerry looked down at her. “Have you forgotten? You already broke up with me and even paid me the breakup compensation fee.”

“Did I say that? I can't remember.” Charlotte pretended to be clueless.

“Besides, we've broken up more than ten times already, and getting back together after a night's sleep has become our habit. If I didn't love you, would I sacrifice my sleep time to make coffee for you? All right, Jerry, don't be mad anymore,” she coaxed. “If I ever talk about breaking up again, I'll be your dog.”

He then added, “Even if you block me again, you're still a dog to me.”

Charlotte hastily agreed, allowing Jerry to remove him from her blacklist later. After he washed his face, she playfully jumped onto his back, and they headed to the living room together.

A warm breakfast was laid out on the island counter, accompanied by a cup of aromatic coffee.

Charlotte placed the coffee next to Jerry and said without blushing, “Making coffee is so difficult, but I know you like toffee latte, so I wanted to make a cup to warm your heart. This is my first time making coffee, so please don't show your disdain it if it doesn't taste good.”

Jerry took a sip of the coffee and commented, “This tastes just like the one from Westwood Café.”

“Yeah, I ordered the coffee beans from their place.” Charlotte sat next to the man, resting her chin on her hand with a grin. “Seems like my coffee-making skills are pretty good.”

“Not bad at all.” Jerry pretended not to know anything and complimented her.

He noticed Charlotte lifting her leg, causing the hem of the shirt to roll up, and he caught a glimpse of something. His eyes narrowed. “You're not wearing anything?”

“No.”

Suddenly, she lifted her leg and rested it on the man's thigh, leaning against the chair as if she was spineless. Her beautiful collarbone peeked out from the neckline of her shirt, exuding an irresistible charm.

Charlotte teased him, “Can you wear this shirt when you go out later? You can return it to me when you come back tonight, all right?”

At that moment, the screen of the phone on the table lit up.

As Charlotte grabbed her phone, Jerry faintly saw the incoming call display showing Zander on the screen. She picked up the phone and held it close to her ear. Upon hearing what the person over the phone said, she sat up immediately.

Two minutes later, she hung up the phone and hurried to the bedroom.

When Charlotte came out of the bedroom again, she was wearing a white turtleneck sweater and a pleated mini skirt. Her delicate and fair face made her seem like a female student who was fresh out of school.

“Jerry, I have something to take care of, so I won't wait for you to leave together.”
