"He's currently... somewhere very far away. I'm afraid he won't be coming back for a bit," Dustin said with a sigh.

"Don't worry. I promised him that I would take good care of you. You don't have to worry about being abused anymore," he added.

Patricia smiled as she nodded.

"The past few days have taught me something." Her expression turned serious. "If I'm weak, I will suffer a lot of injustice. I have decided that I will become stronger. I will gain skills so that no one will ever look down on me again!"

Dustin frowned.

Patricia was only twenty years old and was still in university. She was in the spring of life. She should not be thinking this way.

Dustin's face turned icy as he listened.
