Dustin laughed.

It was no wonder that the main Langley family would react this way. It was

because Otto had told them about his supposed position as the second son of the Fawkes family.

However, they had gotten one thing mixed up. The Fawkes family had nothing to do with Dustin at all.

"Actually, we were blinded by Daniel's temptations. We were greedy. That's the only reason we made such an unforgivable mistake. We know we were wrong now. Please forgive us. Don't begrudge the Langley family for this." Alvern made various excuses for their behavior. They wanted Dustin's forgiveness.

Dustin's gaze swept over all the members of the main Langley family.

Alvern, Darren, Conan, Luna...

They all looked very sorry and hung their heads low. No one dared to look straight at Dustin.

They humbled themselves as though they were bowing before their master.

No one dared to sneer at Dustin. Dustin's position as the son of a very important family turned them all into docile lambs.

Dustin was the Langley family's only hope at this point.

"Now you're begging me for forgiveness?" Dustin scoffed. He would not go easy on them because of this.

They had collaborated with Daniel to kick him out of the family. Yet, after finding out that he was supposedly the son of some ultra-wealthy family, they were trying to beg for mercy.

These people would never change. Dustin hated them all.

They were only scared because the Fawkes family would make trouble for them. That was why they were bowing and groveling.

Besides, Dustin had never been bothered by the members of the main Langley family. He had never seen them as any kind of threat.

"Did you ever think of the consequences of your actions when you were acting so haughty before?" Dustin stared at them in amusement.

The members of the main Langley family looked distressed. They felt humiliated. But what could they do?

They had offended the son of a very affluent family! With just a word, Dustin could wipe them off the face of the world.

“Dustin, we made a mistake tonight. We were all wrong!" Alvern said. "We really regret it. If you feel bitter, you can yell at us however you want. We won't say a word against you!

"The Langley family has wronged you. Please consider the relationship you have with Simone and let us go. Could you do that?" Alvern lowered his head. "I was blind and misled. Please show some mercy

"Dustin, every member of the main Langley family is begging you right now. Please forgive us. Please tell Mr. Forbes not to move against our family."

The members of the main Langley family lowered their heads before Dustin.

"If you're still unhappy, we can get on our knees and beg you. Please spare us," Alvern said with gritted teeth.

They had a pitiful, dejected look on their faces. For survival, they dropped to their knees.

The threat of the Fawkes family was simply too terrifying. The Langley family could not handle it.

However, Dustin's face was still icy.

He had never cared much about the members of the main Langley family.

Even if they were practically sprawled while bowing before him, he would not spare them a second glance.

"Mr. Dustin, I'm here to apologize to you!" came a sudden cry. Someone cut through the crowd of main Langley family members.

The man rushed straight before Dustin and landed on his knees with a thud.

Dustin was slightly surprised at how smoothly the man did all this.

When he looked properly, he found that the man was Daniel.

With a sharp smack, Daniel slapped himself. Then, he bowed low before Dustin.

"Mr. Dustin, I was a fool! I was stupid to offend you. I was a b*stard!" Daniel bowed repeatedly before Dustin and acted like he had no self-respect. He begged for the latter's forgiveness.
