"How could I have lost? There's no way I could have lost!"

Killian was in complete disbelief. He acted like he was in a daze.

He was filled with confusion, and he could not figure it out. He had an inside person giving him clues and knew the correct answer, so how could he have lost?

He could accept that he had lost 20 million dollars, but it was the other bet that was the issue. If he really had to crawl and bark like a dog, he would have no dignity left.

“This shouldn't have happened. What went wrong?" Killian could not accept the result of the competition. He stood up and looked around the hall. He wanted to find the person he had been contacting.

He had to get to the bottom of this.

"Mr. Fox has won the round of authenticating the petrified coral. According to the rules, you have won the authentic item and the extra 20 million dollars from Mr. Clarke as per the bet. Also, the initial deposit you paid will be refunded to you," the host said with a smile.

The audience all looked in awe.

Dustin had won precious petrified coral and an extra 20 million dollars with such little effort. It was an unbelievable steal!

Simone smiled so widely that she could not close her mouth. She had not known that it was so easy to make money. In the blink of an eye, they were tens of millions of dollars richer.

This kind of money would impress any member of the Langley family.

The audience became even more excited about the second bet. That was bound to be entertaining.

"You lost," Dustin said plainly as he looked at Killian and Luna. "According to our bet, you'll have to crawl out and bark like a dog."

Killian and Luna both looked murderous.

They had been the ones to suggest this bet in the first place. They were sure they would win, which was why they had been so aggressive about it.

"Dustin, we're a family. You've already won, so you should let it go. Don't go too far," Darren said darkly. He wanted to play the sympathy card with Dustin.

"Ah, we're a family now, are we?" Dustin scoffed. It was truly laughable.

"Since when have you people thought of us as part of your family? Don't play that card with me now. Don't you feel like it's hypocritical?"

Darren was livid and furious.

Since he could not get through to Dustin, Darren turned to Simone.

Simone was a softie, and he could convince her.

"Don't waste your breath. Even if Simone gives you a pass, I won't," Dustin said. "They were the ones who suggested the bet, so they should deal with it!"

Darren found that he had no retort to that.

"Hmph!" Killian huffed. “Dustin, you'd better think this through. My father is the chairman of the Prolereid Group. You'll be in trouble if you offend me!" He narrowed his eyes threateningly.

"Is being the chairman of the Prolereid Group a big deal?" Dustin did not care

about it at all. “I'll offend you however I want."

"You!" Killian was enraged, and his face turned a shade of purple.

"Who do you think you are? The Clarke family isn't one that someone like you can afford to offend!"

"Enough chit-chat!" Dustin's face turned thunderous. "If you don't get on your hands and feet now, I'll make someone help you with it."

"Ha! I won't move. What makes you think you can make me?" Killian was unafraid.

Dustin smirked and snapped his fingers.

The sound of marching footsteps rose. Suddenly, a bunch of suited brawny men burst into the hall and rushed toward Killian and Luna. Without much effort, they were apprehended. en
