My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

Chapter 121

Chapter 121

For a time, no one dared to say anything

“Good!” Margot was satisfied and was about to seal the deal.

“I object,” Dustin said.

“You?” Margot looked at him, and her face darkened. “Who do you think you are? You have no place to speak here.”

“Shut up! Pick up the money on the floor and leave!” Christian shooed him away in annoyance.

“You’re not satisfied with three million dollars and want to marry Simone anyway? Dream on! You’re not even worthy of dusting Mr. Devon’s shoes, and you dare try to steal Simone from him?”

Devon scowled. He looked at Dustin and frowned.

“I heard that you saved Simone’s life once. If you’re not satisfied with three million, I can give you ten. Stop bothering her from now on, or you’ll pay for it.” He took out a checkbook, scribbled down a figure, and signed it. Then, he threw the check at Dustin.

To him, the problems that could be solved with money were no big deal at all.

It was just ten million, anyway. He would just treat it as charity to a beggar.

Dustin watched the check float closer to him. Then, his gaze turned sharp.

Boom!

The check suddenly shredded into pieces, as if an invisible whirlwind stirred in the living room. Even the three million dollars Christian threw at Dustin’s feet were torn to shreds and scattered into a flurry of paper fragments.

Everyone in the living room was stunned.

“You ungrateful b*stard!” Christian yelled and tried to kick Dustin.

He was going to teach Dustin a lesson for what he did in the courtyard and for what he was doing here.

Dustin flicked his finger indifferently, and Christian cried out in pain. Just like before, he was thrown back and crashed on the floor before fainting.

The other Langley family members were shocked and enraged.

“Have you got no respect, you rude b*stard?!” Margot shouted. “Guards! Catch this arrogant brat!”

But no matter how much she shouted, no one outside responded.

They did not know that there was a Hell Guard standing guard outside the living room and that there was a pile of bodies beside his feet.

Everyone was puzzled because they did not know what had happened outside.

“You did something, didn’t you?” Devon stared at Dustin icily. Then, he said threateningly, “Do you know what will happen to you if you go against the Aquila family?”

The Aquila family was incredibly powerful, and no one in Somerton and Honora dared to go against them.

Dustin was just a piece of trash of the Wyatt family. Even if he had some skill, Devon did not see him as a threat.

“You ignorant fool! Don’t you know that there are people who are far more powerful than you in the world?!” Margot asked coldly. “Mr. Devon, Dustin is very arrogant. We have to teach him a lesson!”

“Of course.” Devon nodded.

“Guards!” he shouted.

Bam!

They heard some noise outside. It sounded like people were fighting

A few seconds passed, and the noise quietened.

Devon sneered.

“You might have some tricks up on your sleeves, but to me, they’re nothing!” he said disdainfully. “Your unemployed hooligan can’t stop my bodyguards! Ha!”

Then, the door to the living room was flung open.

Bam! Bam!

Two burly men were thrown into the center of the living room. They crashed so loudly that the floorboards shook.

Devon froze. He was speechless. NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

These were the most elite of the bodyguards whom he had hired. He paid a lot for them!

Why were they lying lifeless on the floor?

He stared at the Hell Guard standing at the doorway in disbelief.

These bodyguards were high–grade fighters, yet they were defeated in seconds!
