It was a question Vicky had asked Tyler before. At that time, Tyler did not answer it.

This time, Tyler had no intention whatsoever to answer the question either.

"I've finished eating. You can leave now," he declared.

"But you haven't answered my question."

Tyler put on a straight face and said, "You should leave now."

Vicky's eyes twinkled deviously. "Tyler, you're not answering the question. Is it because you don't dare to answer it, or... you have a secret you don't want anyone to know?"

It was obvious Vicky was trying to trick Tyler into answering the question, but Tyler would not fall for the trap.

"Foolish," muttered Tyler.

"Tyler..."

Tyler started flipping through his documents, ignoring Vicky.

Seeing this, Vicky stopped pestering him. She packed the lunch box and left the office.

It was half past four in the afternoon when Tyler's phone rang. A soft feminine voice came from the other end of the phone. "What time will you be back? I'll ask Nanny Paterson to get the dinner ready."

After a few seconds of silence, Tyler answered in a low voice, "Half past six."

"Alright." Vicky sounded cheerful. "I'll be waiting for you."

A few days later, Vicky's hand had fully recovered, and she immediately drowned herself in work. Her work went smoothly. In fact, she received a few large orders, putting her career back on track.

Everything seemed to be going swimmingly well for her.

It was a breezy night. The temperature during the early fall was just nice.

After entering her bedroom, Vicky made a beeline for the bathroom. Due to work, she got home a little later than usual. The clock on the wall showed it was already past 10 at night. She thought Tyler must still be working in his study room since she did not see him in the

bedroom. Exhausted to the core, she decided to have a relaxing bath.

Vicky pushed open the bathroom door and was about to fill the bathtub with water, but she was so surprised by the scene inside. A tall man was standing in the middle. The water dripping off his hair suggested that he had just finished showering.

Right then, he was holding onto his bathrobe and was about to put it on when Vicky's sudden appearance made him stop what he was doing. His gaze shifted from his bathrobe to Vicky's face.

Vicky dazedly looked at him. She suddenly snapped back to the present when their eyes met. "Sorry... I'll get out now!" Vicky's cheeks were so red.

The two of them had been staying in the bedroom even when they were contemplating whether to get a divorce or continue with the marriage, but they each certainly had their own blanket.

Most of the time, Tyler would go work in the study after dinner, only coming back to the room to sleep after 11 at night. He never did anything that crossed the line to Vicky. Thus, she slowly got used to this current life of hers.

She knew she had done the deed with Tyler before, but she had no recollection of it. Hence, she escaped from the bathroom as fast as possible after seeing a naked Tyler.
