Chapter 2870
After Heaton left, Wilbur spent a few quiet days, ensuring that Heaton would not return anytime soon. He then took out the bronze mirror and recited an
incantation. The mirror began to rapidly absorb the surrounding energy.
As Wilbur watched the mirror, now glowing with golden light, a sudden doubt crept into his mind. Since this bronze mirror world could alter the flow of time, why would such a priceless treasure appear in the lower dimensions, like on Earth?
Even in the upper dimensions, time-space artifacts were incredibly rare and considered treasures by cultivators. So, why would it appear in the lower dimensions? And then there was Fremont, as well as Wilbur's master, Orkot, both originally upper dimensions cultivators. Why would they willingly abandon the rich, nectar-like energy of the upper dimensions to return to Earth for cultivation?
Having cultivated in the lower, middle, and upper dimensions, Wilbur had a clear understanding of their differences. The energy in the lower dimensions was thin, with only a faint upward flow. In the middle dimensions, the energy was a hundred times denser, carrying a subtle fragrance and flowing in all directions, forward, backward, left, right, up, and down.
The energy in the upper dimensions was even denser than in the middle dimensions, with a unique and pleasant fragrance that could calm the mind and clear the senses. This energy not only flowed in all six directions but also seemed to merge with the very fabric of space-time as if the energy and space-time were
one.
In terms of cultivation, the advantages of the upper dimensions far surpassed those of the middle dimensions and were thousands of times greater than those of the lower dimensions.
As Mister Heaton had mentioned, almost no cultivators who ascended to the upper dimensions would ever wish to return to the Middle or lower dimensions. Even if they did, they would quickly ascend back to the upper dimensions.
Yet, Orkot and Fremont chose to stay in Earth's dimension. Wilbur could not understand their reasons, but perhaps it was because Earth was their homeland, and they longed to return. Wilbur shared a similar sentiment and could not find a better explanation.
After a moment, the bronze mirror absorbed enough energy and emitted a pulse. Wilbur knew the time had come, so he quickly recited an incantation, transforming into a beam of white light as he entered the bronze mirror world. The mirror then returned to its original state, resting on the bed.
Inside the bronze mirror world, Wilbur sat cross-legged, meditating and beginning his cultivation. Time passed quickly for a cultivator, especially since the flow of time in the bronze mirror world was a thousand times faster than outside. One year outside equaled a thousand years inside the mirror.
As time passed, Wilbur's cultivation steadily increased. When he reached a cultivation level of one hundred thousand years, Wilbur suddenly grasped the essence of the upper dimensions, filling him with excitement. He remembered Fremont once telling him that dragon aura and space-time were one. In the upper dimensions, not only could the energy flow in all directions, but it could eventually merge with space-time itself.noveldrama
This realization meant that the energy in the upper dimensions was essentially a form of special dragon energy. However, because this dragon energy was so unique and pure, cultivators had not recognized it as such.
Moreover, if Wilbur's guess was correct, the three great worlds of the upper dimensions, Gold Dragon World, Silver Dragon World, and Azure Dragon World were likely created by three different dragon clan cultivators. Yet, despite the fact that the name of each world contained the word "dragon," the cultivators of the upper dimensions were too ignorant to make the connection between these worlds and the dragon clan.
