Chapter 1961
Ever since the virus, David, had healed Wilbur, he had widened his prospects of the world greatly. If the virus could heal Wilbur within a minute, there would be even more powerful healing spells around the world.
The dragon aura had grown past what Wilbur's body could handle in the past because he could not control it, and that was why he had never thought of using it to heal his body.
Now that he had the bronze cauldrons, Wilbur learned more about the dragon aura. He stopped channeling after an hour, and it was not long before the dragon aura in his body returned to normal. At the same time, the dragon aura flowing outside of his body was quickly absorbed by the four bronze cauldrons.
The cauldrons landed on the ground slowly as Wilbur stretched his healed joints. An idea came to him then, and he channeled his thunder cleaver. Wilbur could feel the significantly shorter amount of time it took to channel the thunder cleaver this time, and the lightning powers in it were also much more powerful.
The next second, Wilbur cast his Earth-type powers and an Earth Wall appeared in front of him. The thunder cleaver disappeared, and the thunder-type powers were condensed in Wilbur's right fist as he let out a cry of fury, punching the Earth Wall.
Boom!
The wall cracked with a deafening sound, with cracks spreading through the wall as it quickly fell to the ground in pieces.
It was undeniable that his body was now stronger. The dragon aura had improved his control over his spirit energy, all while also healing his body. This was something that had never happened before.
The earth and thunder-type powers faded at the same time, and Wilbur looked down at his fists. "It seems like the dragon clan has many secrets. If I find them, I might just be able to improve my powers further."
The next day, Wilbur came to the museum. He put the letter he had prepared into the suggestion box and turned around to the sight of Ellen walking over. "You finally came, sir. Madam Judy would like to see you."
"Madam Judy?"
"Yes, she's the head of our museum and she has read your letter. Please, come with me."
Ellen told Wilbur what happened the day before, and Wilbur was able to sense that the museum was accepting enough of him purchasing the cauldron. After all, Migorn had not stolen the cauldron from Dasha. They had acquired through a perfectly legal transaction.
Migorn had spent two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to buy the cauldron and was hoping to sell it off to Wilbur for the same price. Of course, Wilbur was more than happy to oblige.noveldrama
However, Madam Judy seemed to have changed her mind when Wilbur stepped into her office.
Judy's face was ashen. "What quarter million dollars? Have you misheard something, Mister Penn?"
"Miss Ellen here told me that. Did you forget what you said to her yesterday, ma'am?"
Madam Judy glanced at Ellen. "That was yesterday's price. I've changed my mind today. I'm not selling the bronze cauldron to you, young man. Please leave."
"But the cauldron means a lot to me. I sincerely hope you can sell it to me, Madam Judy."
What do you think?
