Miranda lazily lifted her gaze, a cold glint flashing through her eyes.

In the blink of an eye-

The group that had approached her suddenly found themselves sprawled on the ground.

They seemed to be in some serious pain, their bodies tingling and aching, leaving them momentarily unable to move. Their faces twisted in discomfort.

"What the hell did you do?!"

"Damn, what kind of power do you have?! What did you do to us?"

"Aren't you supposed to be a doctor? Why are you so aggressive?"

They cursed and yelled, a newfound wariness in their voices as they regarded Miranda.

The twin-ponytail girl widened her eyes in disbelief, glancing at the seven men now collapsed on the ground. She was secretly relieved she hadn't tried to mess with this woman. Otherwise, she might have ended up just like them.

In the surveillance room, ShadowFox had paused mid-drag on his cigarette, the smoke curling upward as he forgot to bring it back to his lips.

"Whoa, Miranda's got some serious fight in her?!"

No one had seen how Miranda had managed to take them all down.

They couldn't even begin to guess how she did it!

And yet, she had laid out seven top-tier experts just like that.

"Isn't she supposed to be a doctor??" ShadowFox's face was a picture of shock.

ShadowFox was speechless.

Elian added, "Who says a doctor can't be aggressive?"

Today was his first time witnessing the folks from RapidForce.

As he had suspected, these people were anything but ordinary.

Even through the surveillance feed, he could tell they were different from normal people.

If it weren't for today's invitation from the person in charge here, he might have never known.

This department, including Miranda, had only nine members.

But he knew that these nine were likely just the department's top agents.

Beneath them, RapidForce actually had a specialized task force.

Unlike other military units, Rapid Force's troops were formed specifically for certain missions.

They answered only to this department.

He had heard other generals mention this before.

But even those seasoned generals knew very little about this department.

By now, ShadowFox was rewinding the footage, trying to figure out how Miranda had acted.

"Silver needles..."

He paused the footage frame by frame, trying to catch the moment Miranda made her move.

Yet, even the surveillance footage couldn't capture her actions clearly.

All he saw was seven silver needles flying toward the seven men.

Each one hit the exact same pressure point!

And in that instant, all seven hit the ground!

"To execute such a move right under their noses and hit precisely-it's just mind-blowing..." ShadowFox was genuinely impressed with Miranda now.

He had heard of Miranda before, knew she was talented.

But what he valued was Miranda's medical skills and the report from Beck that

she seemed to have awakened some kind of power.

Beyond that, Miranda excelled in many areas.

The military wanted her too.

Luckily, he had Beck snag her first.

But he had never seen Miranda in action.

So he had no idea just how aggressive she could be.

"Did Mr. Ashcroft know all along?" he asked, glancing at the composed man

beside him who was not hiding his pride.

Elian clasped his hands, calmly

saying, "She usually doesn't make a

move unless provoked. But if someone does provoke her..." A

smile tugged at his lips, "She'll make them regret it."

"So, you better keep them in line," Elian advised with a hint of good-natured warning, "Otherwise, if your department suffers anydosses, it might not be so pretty."

ShadowFox's expression turned a bit grim.

Meanwhile, Miranda was already striding past the fallen men, leaving them with a

single, mocking remark.

"Is that all you've got?"

Every member: "??"

The twin-ponytail girl watched Miranda with wide-eyed admiration, practically seeing stars in her eyes.
