Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Chapter 748

Just as Sam attempted to take Debra away, a sudden force yanked him backward, his joyous laughter morphing into a bloodcurdling scream.

Drake seized Sam's hand with an iron grip, the sickening crack of bones breaking echoing in the tense air.

Sam's face drained of color as he cried out in agony, "Mercy, Mr. Lowe. Please, have mercy."

Drake's expression remained grim, his grip tightening until Sam's wrist snapped.

Sam writhed and screamed on the ground. Harland signaled for security to drag him away.

Debra, still perched on the piano, asked, "Mr. Lowe, what was that for? You ruined my long-term meal ticket."

Drake squinted at her. "You want a sugar daddy? I'll make that happen for you."

Before Debra could process his words, he yanked her off the piano bench and shoved her toward the crowd of onlookers.

"Go ahead and pick one," he said coldly. "See if they're willing to take you home."

Debra scanned the room, but every guest had been paralyzed by the shocking display of violence. They had just witnessed Sam's downfall, and now no one dared to move. They began to excuse themselves one after another.NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

"Mr. Lowe, we should probably head home."

"My mom's calling me for dinner."

They hurried away, leaving Debra and Drake standing face to face.

Debra crossed her arms. "What's the fuss? You bargained with him right in front of me, and when I struck a deal with him, you drove him away. What is this-some twisted version of jealousy?"

"Jealous? Don't flatter yourselves," he sneered.

"Then explain it. What was all that for? Mr. Bender is a VIP here, and you've made an enemy of him for no good reason. If you weren't jealous, then why go through all that trouble?"

Her bold questioning made the bystanders lower their heads, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire.

Drake's face fell. "You're part of my

score a sugar daddy, then get out."

With that, he turned and strode off.

Harland hurried to her side and whispered, "Ms. Frazier, please, say something to calm him down. Otherwise, we'll all be in trouble."

Drake was temperamental, and his mood had changed several times that night.

If he got mad, everyone there would suffer.

Debra glanced at Drake and pondered. Eventually, she gathered the fabric of her heavy gown and trotted downstairs.

Sensing her pursuit, Drake quickened his pace and called for his car to be brought over.
