After driving for a few seconds, Samara came back to her senses. “Itoland?”
“Yes,”
The man, who was driving, answered indifferently as if he did not understand the question in Samara’s words.
The wind outside the car window was very strong. Samara felt a headache from the wind. She suddenly woke up a lot. “Forget it, Roland.”
Since they had already divorced, wouldn’t it be even more embarrassing for her to go and talk about this matter now?
“What? I thought you couldn’t accept it.”
As Roland spoke, he snorted lightly. He had no intention of stopping the car and changing the road.
Samara raised her hands and rubbed her temples. “I can’t take it anymore. Could it be that you want to help me fight back?”
“Yes,”
He answered without hesitation. Samara looked at him, and her heart trembled.
She had never been bullied since she was young. On the contrary, Gisselle, who looked very brave, was always bullied. When she was a child, Gisselle was very timid. When she was in junior high school, she would only cry when someone bullied her. She did not even know dare to complain to the teacher.
On the other hand, Samara, together with Fletcher and Dayton, blocked the two seniors. Without saying a word, they beat the seniors up until they were bruised and swollen. When the teacher called her parents, she didn’t apologize.
However, Samara, who was like this, was left with the word “endure” every day after she married Chaim. Even if they divorced, she still restrained herself.
The people beside her wanted to help her vent her anger, but she had suffered so much. How could she get it back so soon?
Samara felt that Roland was joking. However, Roland, who she thought was joking, stopped the car at the entrance of the hotel
that she had just left.
Roland stopped the car and looked at her. “We’re here.”
Samara sat in the car and could hardly react.
Roland did not give her any time to react. He directly walked around and opened the car door for her. “We’re here.”
Samara loosened her seat belt and frowned slightly. “Roland…”
He reached out and directly pulled her out of the car. “What are you afraid of? I’m here with you.”
As he spoke, he directly brought her into the hotel.
Roland was tall and had long legs. Samara had no choice but to quickly catch up to him.
Walking to the front desk, Roland stopped. “We are looking for Camille or Serena. Please help me check which room they are
in.”
When Samara heard Roland’s words, she knew that he was not joking. He was serious.
Just as she was thinking, Roland suddenly turned back to look at her. “What? Are you afraid?”
Samara looked at him and raised her eyebrows. “What am I afraid of?”
When had Samara ever been afraid?
Roland smiled, “OK, then.”
Just as he finished speaking, the front desk lady had already found the room number. “Mr. Garza, Ms. Dawson is in 1606.”
“Thank you.”
After Roland finished speaking, he turned his head to look at Samara. “1606, let’s go?”
It had been a long time since Samara had been provoked like this. Even though she knew that Roland had done it on purpose, she still could not help but nod. “Let’s go. Why are you still standing here?”
She wanted to see how he was going to help her fight back.
The smile on Roland’s face deepened. He turned around and walked to the elevator not far away. Samara did not want to be outdone and followed.
There was no one in the elevator. Roland walked in first and stood in the elevator, looking at her with a half–smile. His meaning was self–evident.
Samara pursed her lips and walked in.
The number on the elevator kept changing. Soon, they reached the 16th floor. The elevator door opened. Roland looked at her and did not speak
Samara walked out and stopped at 1606. She tilted her head and looked at Roland. “How do you plan to help me fight back?”
