Chapter 14
Gina.
I woke up the next morning with a slight headache that soon faded away as soon as I took a glass of water. I quickly showered and changed into housework-appropriate clothes.
Scared that Gwen might wake up anytime soon, I went straight to the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone. I was done in no time, all thanks to already-made food that was stored in the freezer by Mrs. Wilson.
My next point of call was to go check on Gwen and help her fix whatever she wanted me to do for her. The thought of running into one or all three triplets came to me, but I was quick to push off the thought like I had tried to push behind all the nasty fun I had with them last night.
I was surprising myself with how I had adapted to getting touched and fondled by the triplets. There is something about the way I feel whenever I am with them. I have never had butterflies in my belly just by being around other guys, not even the ones I shared my first k**s with.
My cheeks turned red just remembering how sweet it was to k**s all three of them last night. I could almost taste their different personalities from how they kissed me.
Devon was so sweet and gentle, and his k****s took your mind off whatever was happening around you.
Derrick is good at what he does and lets you know that he can make your wettest dreams come true.
Denver is all about aggression and dominance; he wants you to feel every part of him, so you miss him when he is gone.
Honestly, if I were asked to pick who I would love to end up with at this very moment, I would be confused. And that is because they are like three of your favorite fruits diced and placed before you as a fruit salad; they are that irresistible.
I took the stairs and was soon standing at Gwen’s door. I noticed the door was partly opened, and it was usually for Gwen not to close her door.
Furthermore, I thought of knocking but kicked against it because I wanted to avoid disturbing her in case she was still sleeping.
I quietly opened the door and went in, only to see a scene that almost completely stopped my heart from beating.
She was sleeping half-naked alongside two of the triplets; I didn’t bother to check who they were. My heartbeat picked up its pace as I ran out of the room and went straight to my room.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
I was furious, not at the triplets, but at myself. What was it that I couldn’t control myself whenever I was with the triplets? I knew they were going to be mated to Gwen and that I was going to be their sidekick, but why do I still feel affected whenever I see her with them?
I was badly hurt, and no matter how hard I tried to tell myself that my anger was not valid, it didn’t ease the pain in my heart. Furthermore, I was still trying to control my breath when I heard footsteps descending the stairs.
I quickly took a steady breath to calm myself before walking out of my room to perform my duties. And as I got outside, I noticed that all three Alphas and Gwen were already seated at the dining table.
So, I went into the kitchen to dish out their food according to what I had come to know they liked taking in the morning.
Gwen was looking particularly cheerful that morning, as she was beaming from ear to ear while she spoke with Devon.
My mind went crazy thinking about all the crazy fun they must have had with her.
Denver and Derrick were quiet while I served their meal, and I was particularly careful not to make any eye contact with either of them.
When I was done, I went back to the kitchen to clean up and wait for them to finish their meal.
After some time, I saw the trio walk into the kitchen with their plates in their hands. Their expression shows some sort of guilt, but I pretended not to have noticed.
They all dropped their plates into the sink and lingered a while before one of them spoke.
“What is it?” It was Devon who spoke this time.
“Nothing,” I replied, pretending to be occupied with what I was doing.
“You are angry,” Derrick said calmly.
“No, I am not,” I lied.
Anger is an understatement of what I was feeling at that moment.
“Then why are you not looking at us?” questioned Devon
“It’s because I am busy,” I said, wishing they would just leave me the hell alone and go be with their fated mate.
“For all that is worth, what you saw upstairs was not exactly what you think it was,” Devon said, and hearing him say those words made me super mad at him.
Like, what the f**k does he take me for, a fool? Or does he think that I was partially blinded when I entered that room? Nevertheless, I was not going to say anything. I need to stop using my heart and start using my head.
The plan was to get the hell out of here on the morning of my twenty-first birthday, and I am going to do just that.
“You are not saying anything,” Derrick said calmly.
“That’s because I have nothing to say. What do you want me to say?” What difference will it make? “I am only a slave, after all,” I said angrily, and I was about to walk out when Denver pulled me to himself.
I didn’t know where I got the bravery from, but the next thing I knew was that I forcefully pushed him off me.
“Don’t touch me, please,” I said as I walked out of the kitchen and out of the house to take some fresh air and also to clear my thoughts.

Denver.
I let out a deep sigh as I watched her get out of the house. My brothers attempted to follow her outside, but I stopped them, telling them that she needed some time for herself.
“What should we do now?” Derrick asked with concern.
“We wait for her to get hold of herself and then try apologizing again,” I said, trying not to show them that I was deeply hurt by the fact that she had pushed me off.
“Perhaps we should get her some gifts,” Devon suggested.
“I don’t know; you guys can do whatever you think will calm her down,” I said, walking out of the kitchen and going straight to my room.
I walked to the window to see if I could get a glimpse of her, but I did not, and I found myself worrying about her safety.
I don’t know what it is about her that I can’t just get her off my mind. She captured the little fragment that is left of my heart, right from the moment I pinned her to that damn wall.
I have never been one to be bothered about mates and stuff, but there is something about Mina that I just can’t let go of.
At first, I thought I was alone in my thoughts, but getting to know that my brothers wanted her as much as I did make matters more complicated for me.
How do I tell her that I intentionally asked my brothers to go to Gwen after she left us last night? We were pretty messed up and needed to release our s****l frustrations, so we all went to meet Gwen to help us out of our frustration. I did that as a means of protecting her.
I didn’t want my brothers and me to take undue advantage of her because of her tipsy state. Gwen has always been there for us, and since we will be mated to her, it felt right that we f****d her as we deemed fit.
Among my brothers and I, we can’t say for sure that we feel as much connection with Gwen as we do with Gina. But being that we have to abide by what the seer of our pack had said concerning our bond with Gwen, we often try to make her feel like she is loved.
I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw her start walking back to the house.
“Hey, baby,” Gwen said sluttingly as she walked into my room.
“Hey Gwen, how are you?” I asked, turning away from the window to look at her.
“I’m cool; I was wondering if you needed company,” she said while sitting down on my bed.
“Not exactly, but since you are here, I have a request to make of you,” I said, walking toward where she was seated.
