CHAPTER 203: WE’RE HOME NOW

While April watched the colorful flowers sparkling in the sky, she made a wish. That that moment would last forever.

That day Alessandro wanted to spend it with Abril, he wanted to show her the city that at that moment was full of life and color due to the festival.

As they headed to the city, Abril looked very excited seeing everything around them.

April stared at a group of young ladies who were dressed in linen clothes and used a scarf to cover their heads.

She asked curiously. Alessandro answered.

- They are from Lisa’s kingdom.

April remembered that during her classes with Gabriel, he had also mentioned it, April felt a delicious aroma of food in the air and her mouth watered.

Alessandro approached one of the food stores and bought meat skewers, he gave one to April, when she tasted it she felt that it was the most delicious thing she had ever tasted, the meat was tender and was seasoned with various spices, that made its flavor wonderful. Alessandro, seeing that she ate with such satisfaction, gave her his skewer, she devoured it immediately and made him buy two more.

April was excited to try new foods, she dragged Alessandro to each of the food stores and tried a little bit of everything.

April kept eating until she reached a point where she couldn’t eat anymore, however that didn’t stop her from continuing to buy, she wanted to take all those delicacies to the palace. After going through all the stalls, April began to feel her feet tired, Alessandro made signs to one of the guards who was in the crowd to take everything they had bought to the carriage and took April in his arms.

- What are you doing?

- We’ve walked a lot, you must rest.

- And that’s why you’re carrying me in your arms?

- Yes, we’ll tour the festival this way, so you can rest.

- Don’t do that, let’s sit by the fountain, after resting for a while we can continue walking the streets.

Alessandro, realizing that April was right, took her to the fountain that was near them and they sat down to rest. April looked around and said.
