Chapter 842 A Kiss from His Daughter

The car drove into Lakeview Estates and stopped outside the Ziegler Villa. Under the bright streetlights, a lot of people were standing at the gate, all familiar faces at a glance, and standing at the front was Evelyn.

Phoebe looked at this well-prepared scene and felt a bit guilty. She glanced at Theodore, who was sitting next to her, calm and composed, with mixed feelings.

"Are you really moving into my house?"

Theodore glanced at her lightly, then got up and pushed open the car door to get out.

As night fell, everything was silent.

Theodore's tall figure stepped out of the minivan, elegant and noble, exuding an imposing aura. The strong demeanor Evelyn had been maintaining instantly dissipated when she saw him.

"Theodore, I heard you were injured. How are you?" Evelyn changed her previously serious expression and showed concern for Theodore.

Theodore nodded nobly, "It's nothing serious. Phoebe insisted I move here, saying no one would take care of me if I stayed alone at the Imperial Apartment."

Evelyn paused and glared at Phoebe, who got out of the car afterward.

Phoebe felt extremely wronged. When did she insist on him moving to Lakeview

Estates? Clearly, he was the one who insisted on moving here.

Meeting Evelyn's sharp gaze, she forced a smile, "Mom, we haven't eaten yet. Let's go inside."

Evelyn looked at Theodore standing in front of her. She couldn't scold Phoebe in front of him, so she could only laugh dryly and invite Theodore inside.

"Theodore, please come in. Dinner will be ready soon. Phoebe, you and Keith, Louis move Theodore's luggage inside." The last sentence was almost squeezed out through her teeth.

Watching them go inside affectionately, Phoebe stood under the streetlight, feeling the breeze. Keith and Louis came over, and Keith said, "Phoebe, is that the richest man, Theodore? He's so young."

Louis also looked envious, "He's rich and handsome, but he seems hard to get along with. Is he going to live here from now on?"

Phoebe had a headache and said, "Probably. It won't affect you. I'm the one who pays your salary, so don't be afraid of him."

Keith and Louis exchanged glances, "Will you two remarry?"

Phoebe felt very troubled by their question and wanted to go back in time to give her troublesome self a good beating, "Well..."

Before she could finish, Evelyn shouted from behind, "What are you dawdling for? Aren't you going to eat?"

Phoebe scratched her head and gave them a polite smile, "Let's move the stuff."

Keith and Louis exchanged a look and went to the car to move the luggage. After moving it down, they asked Phoebe, "Should we move Mr. Reynolds' things to your room?"

Phoebe thought of what Theodore said on the way and felt conflicted, "Move it to the guest room we prepared first. He's just here to recover and won't stay long."

"Okay, you go inside first. We'll handle the luggage."

"Thank you."

Phoebe was worried about how Theodore would get along with the kids. She quickly walked through the courtyard and entered the villa, only to be stunned by the scene in the living room.

Theodore was sitting by the sofa, with Ollie nestled by his leg. Hubert, Boris, and Noomi were also leaning on him, showing concern for him, creating a very warm

scene.

Noomi lay on the sofa next to Theodore, looking at his arm in a sling, wrinkling her little nose and sniffing, "Does your arm hurt?"

Theodore looked down at the little face that resembled Phoebe's. Why hadn't he recognized it before? At this moment, he felt complicated.

"It doesn't hurt," he replied.

Boris squeezed in on the side of his injured arm, eagerly saying, "If it hurts, you should say so. We won't laugh at you."

"Yeah, adults always like to act tough and think crying is embarrassing." Hubert, unable to squeeze in, looked over from the other side.

Theodore's gaze swe I over the three children. They were much more sensible than he had imagined. He followed their lead, "It does hurt a bit."

Noomi immediately volunteered, "Then I'll blow on it for you. When Mom gets sick, I blow on her boo-boo, and she feels better."

Theodore glanced at Phoebe standing by the door, "Does Mom get sick often?"

"Yeah, Mom works so hard and often gets sick from exhaustion. Grandma doesn't let us disturb her," Boris said.

Theodore felt a myriad of emotions. He thought Phoebe was doing well after leaving him, but he didn't expect her to be in such a sorry state.

Phoebe had children for a stranger and often got sick from taking care of them. What was she thinking?

Seeing him not speaking, Hubert, Boris, and Noomi looked at him timidly, "Are you angry? Your eyebrows are all furrowed."

Theodore saw that they were scared by his serious look and relaxed his eyebrows, "I'm not angry. From now on, I'll take care of your mom."

Hubert, Boris, and Noomi seemed to understand somewhat. Seeing Keith and Louis moving the luggage in, they became excited again. Hubert asked, "Are you going to live with us from now on?"

"Yes," Theodore smiled.

Hubert, Boris, and Noomi jumped up excitedly. Noomi climbed onto the sofa and kissed Theodore's cheek, "That's good; we all like you very much."

That moment felt like a gentle breeze touching his heart, and Theodore was stunned.

Phoebe quickly walked over and picked Noomi up from the sofa, "Alright, go wash your hands and get ready for dinner."

Hubert, Boris, and Noomi reluctantly left, looking back every few steps.

Phoebe stood next to Theodore, seeing his cold face, thinking he was unhappy about Noomi suddenly kissing him. She said, "Noomi is a bit outgoing. She expresses her affection by kissing faces. I'll talk to her and tell her not to do that." Theodore looked up, squinting at her, "Who else has she kissed? Edward?"

Phoebe looked down, seeing the light from the crystal chandelier reflecting in his eyes, adding a touch of danger. She quickly said, "No, she wouldn't kiss others casually." Theodore's eyes narrowed into slits, "You better be telling the truth."

"Why would I lie to you?" Phoebe wasn't lying. For some reason, even though Edward spent more time with Hubert, Boris, and Noomi, they didn't seem very close to him.

On the contrary, Theodore, who seemed cold, was liked by Hubert, Boris, and Noomi. It was really strange.noveldrama

Theodore pursed his lips slightly, "No need to tell her. She can kiss me, but not others."

'You are getting into the role too quickly, without any psychological transition, aren't you?' Phoebe complained in her heart.

If it were her, knowing Theodore had children with another woman, she definitely wouldn't be able to accept it so quickly.

"Don't you dislike them?" Phoebe asked nervously.

Theodore looked at her indifferently, "Do you want me to dislike them?"

"Of course not. I just thought you wouldn't accept them so easily. After all, I gave birth

to them..." Phoebe hadn't finished when Theodore interrupted her.

"You don't need to keep reminding me of their background, Phoebe. Since I agreed to move here, I will treat them as my own."
