Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1501

"Tyler, just because you snagged first place doesn't mean you can let it go to your head. There are plenty of folks out there who are better. Keeping your nose in the books is your best bet."

Tyler looked up with a defiant spark in his eyes, gave the teacher a quick glance, and then slouched back over his desk, radiating an air of cocky defiance.

"Tyler!" The teacher's voice cut through the room again.

Boldly dozing off right in front of her-this class was a lost cause!

"Teacher, I've already covered everything you're teaching," Tyler's voice floated over to her, calm and sure.

The teacher had never faced such a brazen student. Even the best in Class A wouldn't dare to be so bold. But considering Tyler topped the entire school, she decided to give him a shot.

"I've got a problem here from last year's college entrance exam. Head up to the board and solve it."

With that, she quickly scrawled a challenging problem on the board. The students stared, bewildered; it was beyond their current lessons. If everyone could solve it, Class A's top students wouldn't be the only ones basking in glory.noveldrama

In this moment of potential triumph, all eyes were glued to Tyler. He took a good look at the problem, then rose from his seat, casually walked up to the board, and began writing. The chalk in his hand spun out complex formulas that seemed like a foreign language.

Both the students and the teacher were spellbound.

"Whoa! Did you see that? Tyler just solved a problem from last year's exam! Maybe he found the answer online?"

"I doubt it. Those formulas are totally unfamiliar. He's incredible!"

"Tyler definitely deserves that top spot."

Five minutes later, Tyler put the chalk down and glanced at the teacher. "I'm done."

One look and the teacher could see Tyler had nailed it, every step perfectly accounted for.

Tyler was truly a talent in the making. Looked like the school had another star student rising up.

What a proud moment!

Caught off guard for a second, the teacher nodded. "Yes, you can."

Right then, the bell chimed, signaling class was out.

The teacher couldn't wait to share this exciting news with the principal. Whether Tyler had peeked at the answers online or not, he was clearly a student worth investing in.

Maybe it was Tyler's in-class performance that kept the gossip at bay.

Yet, a group of girls kept whispering amongst themselves, clearly badmouthing Fiona.

Annoyed by the noise, Fiona turned over in her seat. Nash strolled over and shoped them away, frowning. "Scram, what's all the chatter?

You're disturbing my beauty sleep."

"Nash, why're you sticking up for Fiona so much?"

Nash paused, giving them a sidelong glance. "I help whoever I want. What's it to you?"

His words made the girls clam up, ready to argue back but intimidated by Nash's fierce gaze, they backed off.

Nash slid back into his seat and shot a text to Jackson: "Hey, can you score some tickets to Allen's concert?"

A moment later, Jackson fired back with a simple: "No."

Gotta love family, right?
