Nina did not want to listen to their argument, but she could tell there was some chemistry between them.

Over the past few years, she had heard the good news that James and Scarlett were together. They were planning to get married at the end of this year, and Scott's family was also making arrangements. The only one left without a partner seemed to be Felix. While things with Felix were uncertain, one thing was clear. Neither Wilfred nor Micah had found someone yet.

Although Nina had her differences with Freya, she thought that if Freya and Micah could develop something, it would be a good match.

As Nina walked away, Micah called after her, but noticed she was moving quickly.

Before she could finish, Micah had already turned and left.

Watching him walk away, Freya sighed softly. But deep down, she was resolute. No matter how difficult Micah was, she was determined to win him over.

Nina suddenly remembered that Nash had been called away nearly an hour ago and still had not returned. She was growing increasingly worried about Orion.

Micah chuckled. "You're overthinking it. I'm just concerned about your emotions since you've come back. I want to keep you company. There's nothing we're keeping from you." After all, they were willing to entrust the Yaren Tribe to Nina. What could they possibly need to hide from her?

Nina suspected something might be wrong with Orion, that they were afraid she could not handle the truth, so they chose to tell Nash instead. With this thought, Nina quickened her pace.

But Nina was not listening to Micah's reassurances. She needed to find out what was really going on.

She quickly arrived at the lab.

Orion was lying on the operating table, with Nash by his side. The boy was hooked up to an IV, his pale face tugging painfully at Nina's heart. She rushed over to him.

"Mom, Mom..." Orion called out weakly, and just hearing his voice brought tears to Nina's eyes.
