Chapter 808
"Are you okay with this?" Nash's deep voice asked, "Will you regret it?"
He sought Nina's consent, not wanting her to act on a whim.
"No regrets," Nina replied, looking at him. "After being married for so long, at least once, let's truly be a couple."
She didn't have many demands. After all, how could she be content with just being a nominal couple, especially when they had a child together?
Nina felt there were too many regrets and they shouldn't end this way.
"Alright." Nash leaned down and kissed Nina's lips.
His movements were gentle, treating Nina like a precious gift from above. Nina savored his caresses, every touch making her body tingle, blurring the line between reality and dreams. She felt as if her body was melting like water. Occasionally, a jolt of electricity surged through her, making her gasp.
Nash was breathing heavily, sweat dripping from his forehead as he tried to control himself to avoid hurting her. But his blood seemed to be on fire, heat rushing to his head.
His eyes turned red, gradually losing his rationality. He grabbed Nina's arm, unintentionally leaving red marks on her skin, and deep impressions on her body.NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
Nina stifled her moans, feeling both pain and pleasure.
It was a night destined to be sleepless. Their fiery collision resembled fire and water, intertwining intensely.
Nina woke up feeling soft and weak. As she gradually came to her senses, she felt as though her body was not her own. Her body felt light and floating, with a lingering soreness.
Opening her eyes, she saw the inside of a tent. It wasn't her own place. Last night wasn't a dream. She had summoned the courage, but now that the heat of the moment had passed, she felt a bit embarrassed.
Yet, she had no regrets, though she was slightly reluctant to face Nash.
Unexpectedly, Nash had already risen. The residual warmth beside her had dissipated, indicating he had been up for a while.
Glancing outside, she realized it was late. They usually woke up at five, and Nash was no exception. Her exhaustion from the previous night's intensity made her sleep deeply until now. Memories of the night's passion and intensity were still fresh in her mind. The force had left her extremely tired, making her fall asleep soon after.
Now, as the sun was high, she
quickly sat up, feeling the aches in her waist and legs along with lingering fatigue. She couldn't tell if it was age or lack of exercise that left her so worn out.
Pulling back the blanket, she prepared to dress. Seeing the
various marks on her body, she thought Nash might have been too rough. Even her wrists were red from his grip. His strength seemed overwhelming. He wasn't like this the previous time.
Without dwelling on it, Nina quickly dressed and prepared to leave. She wondered what everyone would think if they saw her coming out of Nash's tent at this hour.
Peeking outside, she saw no one
around, giving her a chance to slip out unnoticed. But then she spotted James and the others chopping wood. Everyone was there, except Nash, which puzzled her.
"Ms. Nina!" they all greeted in unison when they saw her.
Nina asked, "Where's Captain? I don't see him."
James wiped his sweat and answered, "Captain ordered us to chop wood. He's not with us. If he comes back, I'll let you know."
"That won't be necessary."
James asked politely, "Did you sleep well last night?"
They had no idea Nina had come from Nash's tent.
