Chapter 10
Chapter 10
[Chapter 10 She Got Kicked out of The House
With the nasal cavity filled with the smell of disinfectant, Tina opened her eyes frowning. The blur in
front of her eyes dissipated, and the world was all white.
"Oh you are awake!"
Tina raised her head and saw the nurse beside her who was adjusting the fluid infusion.
"I..."
"You fainted and have been sent here for an hour." The nurse said calmly.
Tina propped up half of her body and looked around clearly. It was an infusion room with a good
environment, and this hospital seemed unordinary.
"Excuse me. I wonder who brought me here?"
The nurse glanced at her, and raised her eyebrows suddenly, "You are lucky. You fainted in the mall
and were covered in milk tea, but there was a handsome guy bringing you here."
Tina felt uncomfortable then, looked down and found that her pants and clothes were full of dried milk
tea.
"Where is the person who brought me here?"
The nurse clicked his tongue twice, and there was a bit of gossip in her cold eyes, "That handsome guy
is really a good guy. He paid for your medical bills, and wanted to guard you, but he left in a hurry after
answering the phone call."
Tina sighed, and pulled the corners of her lips, "That's a pity that I have no chance to thank him."
The nurse wanted to tease a few more words, but she heard Tina continue, "Could you trouble to
speed up the drip? I still have work to do."
"You white-collar workers are horrible. You have a high fever of 39 degrees, and you still want to go
back to work."
The nurse complained and helped Tina to adjust the drip.
Tina closed her eyes tiredly. The stern and cold look of Samuel flashed in her mind, and she sat up
straight with a quiver, cold sweat dripping down her back.
She glanced out the window, seeing people coming and going, and clenched her fists unconsciously.
The phone rang suddenly. It was an unfamiliar number.
"Hey..."
"Tina, what's the matter with you? It's been so long to buy the milk tea?"
Tina frowned, and then realized that it was Mr. Miller. She breathed a sigh of relief, "Mr. Miller, I fainted
in the mall and I'm in the hospital now."
"Hospital?" Mr. Miller snorted, and his tone sounded with a little concern, "Then you have a holiday
today. It just so happens that Tiffany also has almost helped you get things done."
Tina intuitively felt that this group of people could not be so kind, but she didn't have the strength to
argue now, so she hung up the phone after saying a few words.
The infusion lasted until nearly four o'clock, and the sun was already setting when she left the hospital.
It's useless to go to the company at the time. It's better to go home. She didn't care about the salary
anyway.
With a negative attitude, Tina took a taxi home, but just as she reached the elevator door, she heard a
noise.
"Move out. Hurry up."
Tina's heart sank. She hurried into the corridor, and she saw several persons moving things out of her
home.
"What are you doing?"
The people who moved things looked at each other, but didn't intend to pay attention to her, and
continued to rush in and out.
Tina opened the door and bumped into Jeremy of the property.
"Miss Lynd, why do you come back so late?"
Tina was so angry that she pointed to something outside, "What does this mean? Who allowed you to
enter my house?"
Jeremy spread his hands and looked a little disdainful, "You forgot to pay the rent, and the landlord
wants us to move your things out, saying that a new tenant will come in soon."
"Rent?"
Tina froze.
This apartment was settled for her by John two years ago, the asistant of Samuel, just for the
convenience of commuting to and from the company. At that time, he said that he had paid the rent for
three years. She was too busy these days and totally forgot this.
"If you have any problems, call the landlord. It's almost closing time, and we can't decide it."
He rolled his eyes and continued to turn around to call the workers to move things.
Tina stood at the door, watching the group of people throw her things like rubbish at the entrance of the
corridor, and Jeremy was still mumbling and complaining.
"These things have to be taken away as soon as possible, otherwise we can only ask the cleaners to
come."
Tina clenched her bag tightly. Her mind twitched, and her first reaction was to call John.
But with just one deep breath, she stopped. NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
It was she who wanted to leave Samuel, and it was justified for him to take these things away. It was
her fault that she didn't do the preliminary work well and gave others a chance to humiliate her.
The hallway was so full of things that she didn't even have a place to stay.
Tina held the phone, thought for a while and decided to ask someone for help.
"Hello..."

Half an hour later, Tina got off the taxi.
The surrounding lights were dim, but the environment was fairly clean. She found the house according
to the address given by Alice.
An old detached villa with rusted gates.
Alice gave her the password, and she went straight into the yard.
She knocked on the door of the main house, and there was an answer from inside.
The door opened.
"Come in."
Alice had wine-red wavy hair, red lips and white teeth, and a face that looked like a reborn fairy. She
probably just got out of the shower and was busy drying her hair, so she came to open the door for
Tina in a silk pajamas.
