Chapter 7
She cried so softly that it did not disturb him. But in his heart Jeorge Milton was restless.
He desired her.
He resisted his body’s need and helped her put on her clothes and fasten one of her buttons. He felt insane, which was even funnier…
She opened her eyes and stared at him in surprise.
He laughed at her astonishment. Imagine his surprise at a woman’s tears.
“Do not stare at me like that!” he joked, but she was too frightened to look at him.
“I can help you with your sister’s problems,” Jeorge Milton said as he rolled onto his side and sat up.
“Wake up and get dressed. I’ll go with you.”
After finishing his sentence, he walked away.
Jeorge had already parked the car outside the gate and was waiting for Ava to come down.
Instinctively, she moved to the back. “Get in the front,” he said as she opened the door.
Ava paused in the reviewer mirror, her face flushed. His face lit up with a smug grin. “I am not going to eat you.”
He leaned forward so quickly that her breath caught and she straightened up.
As he helped her fasten her seat belt, he saw that she was being careful. Then, with one hand on the window, he wrapped her in his arms and admired her Chanel gown. His appreciation glowed as he discovered the woman’s second advantage.
A beautiful figure…
Above all…
He smirked at her chest, his lips parted. “I did not think your body was that fantastic,” he said, knowing she was fair-skinned. “Do not wear loose clothing anymore, you drive guys crazy, why hide it?”
Ava Lins was furious, her cheeks heated by his renegade tone. His stares made her feel exposed, even though she was wearing a quilted cotton jacket!
“Jeorge Milton, if you say nothing, I shall find you charming!” she bit her lip.
“You can drive the ladies crazy, so why dress up?”
“Why not naked?”
“I do not want to wear anything as long as you dare to sit in the car,” he teased her.
She blushed, but was speechless. The look she gave him made his heart ache and his gaze grow intense.
Ava Lins hated being hemmed in by him and burned by his intense gaze. “Hooligan!” she said softly as she turned her head and tried to remain calm.
He stopped taunting her and raised his lips corners.
Ava pouted, looking out the window.
They were all unique people who did not want to be insulted and crowned with cruel comments.
But now that he was here, everything seemed unimportant. Nothing in this world deserved his anger!NôvelDrama.Org content rights.
When Ava stressed the need to explain her connection to him, he looked at her with an inexplicable grin in his eyes.
At the entrance of the ward.
Ava Lins was waiting at the entrance. He had murmured something to Tianra, but just as she was about to enter, he yanked open the door and left.
“Have you told Tianra?”
“Tell her everything that happened between us today,” Jeorge Milton urged, his hands in his pockets.
“What?” she froze, then looked into his terrible eyes and realized what he had said. “What did you tell Tianra?” she jumped up and dragged him to the other side. ‘Do not you know she’s grumpy? ”
“Sis!”
“Sister wanted to talk to you,” Omi said, pushing open the door of the ward.
Then Ava looked at him angrily and stormed into the hospital room. Jeorge Milton leaned in close to her and grinned teasingly…
Ava Lins never expected Tianra’s attitude to change so drastically. She was willing to accept her therapy and talk to her.
She said Jeorge would visit me again. ..
He was not at the door when Ava left. The thought of her behavior towards him gave her a strange feeling. As if she had wronged him…
Omi tried several times that night to urge her to go back and relax, but she always had reasons to stay and take care of her. No one guessed how much she dreaded giving Goden Bran the cold shoulder again.
“Sis, is there something on your mind?” he asked .
She joked. “No.”
“Stop lying to me, your smirk is despicable.”
“It’s the brother-in-law, is not it? You will not come home like that at night, sis, or Brother-in-law will be much more distant. I have always believed that you are too impetuous in your expressions of love. Did not you say that you have to win the man’s appetite first? When you are dealing with a man like my brother-in-law, you need a strategy.”
Is not she brave enough?
She was by his side, quietly supporting him in his worst moments. She had even proposed to him.
She admitted that she took advantage of the situation.
He took advantage of his hurt and offered her marriage.
But he could refuse, could not he? The night he promised her, he took the initiative and hugged her first. “Ava, you will not regret marrying me,” he added softly.
She hoped that marriage would bring them closer.
But heaven and earth were not what she had imagined. He not only ignored her, he grew even colder…
He came home late at night. Ava saw the light on in the study and knew her father was working. She went into her room and into the bathroom.
