Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1836

Wyatt was unable to figure it out. The ominous premonition in his heart grew even stronger. Subconsciously, his gaze landed on Seth.

Seth shook his head. He was even more confused. "Perhaps we've hit a dead end."

What was his purpose for doing that?

Was it for Miss Castle? It seemed like that could be the case, but on second thought, it didn't seem likely.

No one would have expected that a well-planned plot was already slowly going into action.

In the end, both of them seemed to have thought of something and temporarily gave up. Wyatt waved his hand and said, "Forget it! There's no rush. People always expose themselves at some point. Pay more attention to what he's been doing lately."

"All right!"

Then, they returned to the main hall together.

The wedding marched forward in full swing. It was a beautiful scene.

After finishing the day's schedule and taking a short break, the dinner party was held. Since the wedding was not an extravagant one and the guests were all friends and relatives, there were not many people there. The dinner party was purely a gathering of friends and relatives, so everything was more casual.

Wyatt danced with Waverly until she said she was tired. He then led her away to a high platform, where a few people were chatting about family affairs, and specially prepared a high chair for her.

She straightened up and took a few looks at her slightly protruding belly. In the end, Waverly could not resist taking a steamed cake and secretly eating it.

This wouldn't do. Her stomach was protesting. She was so hungry that it was hard to handle.

Wyatt's lips curled into a smile when he saw her inadvertent actions.

"Is Victoria-"

Just as he was about to ask if Victoria was about to give birth, Wyatt's gaze carelessly looked away. He saw Waverly staring straight at the side. He slowly turned around, and a familiar figure entered his vision without any warning. His blood pressure seemed to instantly spike to its peak as if he was about to explode.

Raynee?

Why was she there? How did she get in? He didn't invite her.

His last memory of her still lingered on that time when she fell into the water. Ugly, stinging memories instantly stabbed into Wyatt's heart like needles. At that moment, she was also wearing a white dress similar to a wedding dress. Subconsciously, he turned his worried gaze to Waverly, who was sitting down. His heart had leaped up to his mouth.

Wyatt was speechless.

He wanted to say something but realized that he couldn't find his voice at all. The grimace on his face was obvious.

Just as he was in a trance, he heard a familiar voice. "I've taken the liberty to come here and join in on the fun. Congratulations on getting what you wanted and also on your happy marriage. I wish you eternal happiness, and hope that you two have a child soon."

Those words hit him like a thunderbolt. Wyatt turned his head suddenly, and his expression darkened.

As their eyes met, Raynee looked puzzled, and Wyatt was obviously shocked. That was because right then, another man was standing beside Raynee. It was Quill. They seemed to be intimate, and they clearly hadn't come to stir up trouble, unlike what he imagined. At that moment, Raynee was holding a large, exquisitely-wrapped glass bell jar. Inside, there were two preserved roses with bear plushies. It was incredibly gorgeous.

However, the last part of her blessings was like pouring salt on an open wound. Wyatt's expression didn't change for a moment.

Quill handed over the preserved flowers and said, "Congratulations to the two of you!"

Waverly had already stood up from the tall chair with a smile and was the first to speak. "Thank you!"

She turned to the side and pushed

the gifts into Wyatt's hand, then looked at the two people in front of her who had a close relationship. She knew that the two of them didn't have any ill intentions toward her. Instead, they only wanted to make peace. No matter what happened in the past, she wasn't the type to hold petty grudges. It was such a joyous occasion, and everyone had gotten what they wanted. To Waverly, it was a good thing. She smiled at Quill. Her gaze fell on Raynee, and she grinned again while nodding her head in gratitude.

"Congratulations to you two as well!"

Raynee finally recovered from her confusion and gave her a smile again. "Thank you!"

After that, she took hold of Quill's arm. Their posture was enough to show their relationship.

The two of them turned to leave after exchanging a few words of greetings, From beginning to end, Wyatt did not speak and his expression seemed rather unpleasant. Naturally, Waverly understood what the look on his face meant. Trevor, however, was a little embarrassed. He secretly nudged Wyatt several times. When Waverly turned around, he pinched

him again.

It was like he was silently asking, "What's wrong with you? Look at that expression of yours."

His ex-girlfriend had shown up, but Waverly was nicer to her than he was. Not to mention, he had reacted to the situation with a look like that on his face. If he had an expression like that from seeing his ex-girlfriend on his wedding day, wasn't that a complete embarrassment to the bride?

By the time Wyatt came back to his senses, Raynee had already left. He immediately blurted, "It's not what you think!"

Upon hearing that sentence, Waverly lifted her gaze while holding the cake. Trevor's face darkened severely. "Ahem, ahem."

Was he actually stupid?

Right after that, Wyatt rolled his eyes helplessly. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of Waverly, who was holding a piece of cake, and said, "Waverly wouldn't be angry! It's not like my expression changed because Raynee has a boyfriend-"

Couldn't he see that Waverly was enjoying her food?

Wyatt had not told Trevor much about Waverly's bodily health and her personal affairs even though they were good friends. When Trevor thought about it, he figured that Raynee's words earlier probably held no malice. After all, she didn't know anything. In the end, the ones who suffered the most were Waverly and Trevor himself.

Wyatt took a paper towel and passed it to Waverly. Subconsciously, he placed his hand on her shoulder and used a bit of strength in an attempt to comfort her. Trevor's hand moved to cover his eyes. He didn't even have the energy to criticize them. Those two were seriously something else.

"As long as you're fine!"

Trevor looked away. To his side, an unpredictable figure, who was talking to Abel, suddenly came into view. His gaze froze.

Master Ralph?

It was surprising that the Moore family was still willing to attend Waverly's wedding. Could it be that Selena was finally willing to stop being vicious? That didn't line up with what he had heard, though.

It seemed that the Moore family greatly relied on the Castle family. Putting down the glass in his hand, Trevor looked at his watch and said, "Wyatt, I'll

take a look around, then I'll head back first. Victoria is with my mother. I have to pick her up later."

"Okay! We're friends, so you can do whatever we want. You'd better drivenoveldrama

carefully since you were drinking just now," Wyatt warned.

"No worries, it's a joyous occasion. Holger didn't drink!"

Trevor patted him on the shoulder and nodded to Waverly. Then, he turned around and left.
