Alpha’s Predestined Bride

EPISODE 6 Fighting off vampire rogues

Carl couldn’t help but chuckle at her words. “I am just going to have some good time dealing with pack affairs.” He replied.

“Add women to the list then I am all in for a good time with the alpha.” Brianna said seductively as she twirled the tip of her hair.

“Stop it Brianna, your seduction won’t work on me.” Carl picked up a stick and tried to haul it at her.

Brianna dodged but soon realized that he didn’t intend to throw it at her.

“I almost forgot that the alpha fights off seduction at every point from the single wolves in the pack. Wow! So strong!” She teased him.

“I am telling on you to Julius.” Carl pointed at her.

Brianna shrugged. “He knows I love you but he only warned me to keep my eyes off you. And unfortunately this wolf right here is not giving up anytime soon.” She winked.

And all of a sudden Carl extra sensory senses got activated. The scents in the air smells differently. Brianna noticed the change of look on the alpha’s face. His senses were more powerful than other werewolves because he is the alpha. And he came from a long lineage of full blooded wolves. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“Are you okay, Carl?” Brianna asked.

“The Rogues!” Carl scowled after moving over to Brianna in a bid to shield her from the intruders.

He sighted a dagger flying in the air so he pushed Brianna down and laid on her but his weight barely on her. A minute later, arrows kept flying and growls in the air.

“Brianna, follow my instructions.” He whispered in a stern voice.

“I am not running away to leave you behind.” Brianna pushed him off her.

Carl stood up quickly and also dragged her up. And before Carl could say any thing else, Brianna caged him to the tree nearby using her body as a shield from whatever was to come.

Carl’s eyes widened in shock when he saw an arrow being aimed at her. He tried to switch place but she had him caged with her full strength. Carl never knew she could be so strong. Brianna’s right hand caught the arrow that would have pierced the back of her neck.

“Brianna!” Carl yelped thinking she has been shot by an arrow.

“I am fine.” She said.

Carl pushed her down until they were both bending. She showed him the arrow she had caught.

“How the fuck did you do that?!” He asked, a surprised look on his face.

For a moment, Carl was terrified thinking something bad had happened to Brianna.

“I have powers. So let us take them down!” She winked at him.

“Look! They are over there!” A voice shouted.

“Terrible Rogues!” Carl growled.

Brianna’s head snapped in the direction and she saw ten men approaching with silver weapons in their hands. A part of her was confident that Carl could take down the ten men but helping him would also make things easier for him.

They both stood in a defensive stance right after Brianna reached for the knives in her leather boots. Carl growled warning the vampire rogues to retreat from his land but the rogues didn’t come this far to retreat so easily. They needed to claim a land as their own and build up their pack. And because the vampire rogues are prideful in nature they would never stoop low to acquire a land in a peaceful manner. They believe in using force to acquire materialistic things that would be beneficial to them.

“You are making the biggest mistake of your lives to have trespassed into our land and even kill one of our members!” Brianna seethes her teeth in anger.

Growls reverberated in the air, each vampire rogue fangs revealing ready to devour.

“Be ready to meet your death today!” Carl grimaced as he changed into his alpha identity, claws revealing from his ten fingers each and vein bulged from his neck.

The vampire rogues weren’t intimidated by his appearance and it annoyed his wolf. Two vampires came forward, Carl and Brianna took the down as they moved in different directions to protect themselves from the vampires ripping through their skins.

One of the vampires grimaced in pain when Carl clawed his sharp nails into his chest plucking out his heart. More vampires came forward, Brianna launched herself in the air avoiding two of the vampires and they ended up slamming their bodies into each other.

The impact was fierce that it sounded like thunder. Three vampire rogues attacked Carl making him stumbled off balance but he was quick to roll back on his feet. Carl pushed his claws at several skins decapitating each of the rogues in a swift movement. He flipped his body when a dagger almost stab his side and he landed in a crouch with in hand planted on the earth.

Carl stood up again, reaching his full height and the predator inside him in full control. Brianna already took down three vampires and they both stood firm with their backs against each other.

The rest of the vampire rogues retreated and ran off. Carl and Brianna exchanged glances and nodded in agreement at the same time. They raced after the vampire rogues. Letting them go would bring in more of their kind but if none of them return back to their hideout, the rogue in charge would see it as a sign that the land is a big no for them. And the alpha decided that he would do well to send out messages to neighboring packs to let them know about the vampire rogues.

Soon Carl caught his target and spurred him around at a fast speed before throwing him to the rest of the rogues sending them flying in the air and colliding into nearby trees.

Carl Damien is a more dangerous being when it comes to fighting off his enemies. He kills without showing mercy when he is in his full predator form. He is known to be one of the deadliest alpha in the werewolf world. He has never tried to bargain with his enemies. He would rather tear out their limbs from their bodies.

And in a blink of an eye, Carl took down the rest of the rogues before Brianna could even meet up to his pace.

“He is damn fast!” Brianna mumbled as she stood watching the last rogue fall to the ground.

Carl dumped the head of the rogue on the ground. They had blood dropping from their torn clothes and stain on their skins.

“Who are these rogues to mess with us?!” Brianna threw a lethal kick at the ripped head and it went far away. She wiped her bloody hands on her worn out clothes.

Carl changed back to his usual form. “You did well.” He complimented Brianna as his claws disappeared and the veins was replaced with slightly hairy skin.

Brianna blushed at his appraisal. “We can do this forever.” She winked at him.

“I don’t pray to fight anymore rogues during my reign as an alpha.” Carl replied with a gesture of a finger tapping the side of his head signifying that she should to erase such thought in her head.

“Whatever.” Brianna rolled her eyes and turned to walk away from him. Even though he had rejected her again, she was happy that he complimented her bravery.
