Alpha Kilian spoke in a low, menacing growl that sent shivers down Nelly’s spine. His eyes glowed with a feral intensity as he confronted her. “Nelly, are you thinking of taking advantage of me for free?”

Nelly was taken aback, speechless for a moment. But as she pondered his question, she realized that his interpretation of her words might not be entirely wrong.

With a steadying breath, Nelly regained her composure and asked, “So, you believe you’re being exploited?” Alpha Kilian’s lips tightened into a hard line as he stared at her in silence.

Summoning her courage, Nelly suggested, “If that’s the case, perhaps it’s best for you to leave before anything happens.”

Alpha Kilian was rendered speechless, stunned into silence by her unexpected response.

“For some reason,” Nelly began, her voice filled with uncertainty, “she makes me sound like a jerk.”

As she moved to close the door, leaving him in a daze, Alpha Kilian’s mind raced with thoughts. In a split second decision, he reached out and stopped the door from shutting completely.

Nelly was astonished, her eyes wide as she looked up at him. “Is there something else?”

Alpha Kilian’s gaze bore into her, his anger still burning but tempered by the memories of their past discussions. Though they were quick to engage in arguments, finding resolution had always been a challenge.

He didn’t want to stay angry with her because he despised that feeling.

Suppressing his discomfort, Alpha Kilian stared at her intently. “Your suggestion, in its entirety, is not entirely unacceptable.”

Nelly was dumbstruck, at a loss for words.

“What do you mean?” she asked, confusion evident in her voice. What game was he playing now?

Pushing the door open, Alpha Kilian stepped into the room and locked it behind him, his eyes locked onto hers.

Perplexed, Nelly looked at him, unable to comprehend his sudden change in demeanor.

Drawing closer to her, Alpha Kilian asserted, “I accept your suggestion. So, shouldn’t something happen between us now?” he asked.

Nelly was left speechless, unable to find the right words to respond.

“We should indulge in something pleasurable, something befitting adults. Otherwise, your proposal would be in vain,” he added.

Nelly had made up the speech as an excuse to dismiss Alpha Kilian, never expecting him to pursue the matter further. She knew her words would irritate him, but she hadn’t anticipated this shift in his attitude. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

She stared at him, unsure of how to respond in that moment.

With gleaming eyes, Alpha Kilian reassured her, “Don’t worry. I still possess the stamina to satisfy you.”

Nelly was rendered speechless.

“Do you wish to take the initiative, or shall I lead?” Alpha Kilian’s voice held a hint of displeasure, his tone laced with intrigue.

Sensing her silence, he spoke again, “Very well. I shall take the lead.” With that, Alpha Kilian advanced towards her. Nelly instinctively took a step back, only to be conveniently pressed onto the bed by Alpha Kilian.

Their eyes locked in close proximity; they could hear each other’s breathing.

Nelly’s long lashes trembled as she sensed his labored breaths.

In that moment, Alpha Kilian leaned in, savoring the alluring sight of her features – her forehead, eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth.

He swallowed hard, inching closer.

Just as his lips were about to touch hers, she interrupted, “Alpha Kilian, the three kids are home.” Alpha Kilian froze.

He met her determined gaze, knowing he had to reassemble his thoughts. He had only intended to teach her a lesson at first. Unexpectedly…

Still, Alpha Kilian didn’t want to miss the opportunity to tease her. “Are you implying that we can proceed if they’re not home?” he asked.

“Alpha Kilian, must you be so explicit when discussing such matters? It’s not like I’ve never given you the chance!” Nelly retorted.

Narrowing his eyes at her, Alpha Kilian growled, “Are you referring to the other night?” She remained silent.

So, she wasn’t confused or under the influence that night. She had intentionally given me that chance…

Alpha Kilian felt a pang of remorse for his actions. Yet in that moment, understanding dawned upon him. “Does that mean you planned for us to have this superficial relationship?”

Witnessing his enraged demeanor, Nelly realized the consequences of her initial lie – now she found herself tangled in a web of further fabrications.

Caught off guard, she struggled to find an explanation and reluctantly decided to play along with Alpha Kilian’s assumptions. “I thought you were willing to do this too,” she replied.

Alpha Kilian discovered that Nelly had a talent for igniting his anger at any given moment.

“Nelly!” he growled, fury etched on his face for all to see. His uncontrollable rage was palpable.

He wanted to say more, but as he stared at her innocent and righteous expression, Alpha Kilian knew persuading her to change her mind would be futile. So, he devised a plan to outmaneuver her in her own game.

After a moment of contemplation, Alpha Kilian uttered, “Very well. I can agree to your proposal, but I have one condition.”
