Chapter 8
Chapter 8
I was always a fan of those abusive stories, in which the girl got kidnapped by the big bad boy, and first
he would treat her badly, but then eventually they would fall in love. I loved how possessive the bad boy
would be, how caring he would be, how he would kiss her and how he would show his possession to
any one who came near his girl, and to be honest I wished that something like that happened to me.
But now, when it was getting true, I really wanted to go back to the old life.
My eyes fluttered open to the black ceiling staring at me, and then I felt some clanking on my arms:
chains.
"Oh no, he didn't." I whispred.
"Oh yes, he did." I heard the familiar voice, I so didn't want to hear.
My eyes followed the voice to the balcony, where Ozymandius stood. The sunlight glistened at his back
as he stood, gripping the railing.
As if sensing my gaze, he turned to face me. His body on full display, shining as the rays of the sun
sparkled on him. His hair was messy, and his eyes back to the normal color.
"Why?" I whispered, my eyes on the chains that made me feel like a prisoner.
And with in a second he was on the bed.
Was he one of the Salvatore brother's?
His body hovered over mine, caging me as his possession. His mouth just inches away from me and
his eyes bored into mine with so much intensity and power that my eyes really started to get watery.
"What are you doing?" I whispered, as I clutched the silk covers in my hand.
Luckily the chains were long, giving me access to the entire room.
But he was quick to pin my hands above my head, with the power of his muscles.
"When you disobey me princess, that's what you get." he whispered, in that husky voice of him.
And with that his face neared mine, his nose touching my nose and then moving towards my cheek.
"Ozymandius" I whispered.
But he didn't seem to notice, as his nose moved down towards my neck, inhaling me and then it
stopped on a certain point, where it lingered for sometime and then he kissed that spot. My body was
on fire, every time he touched me, sparks flooded from every where.
"Litsen Pearl, you are only mine and one day I will show the world, that you are only mine." he
whispered, and with that he was gone.

I was always told that in the end it was always the girl who had to sacrifice, bear the torments and
endure hardships, but living in a world of fantasy I was keen to show the world they were wrong.

I remembered my dad's advice when he told me that if you want to be successful, you need to come
out of the fantasy and live in reality, but me being Immature didn't understand that.
Until now.
It had been three hours since Ozymandius had left, and I had now taken a bath and changed into one
of Ozymandius shirts.
With the chains tied on my wrists it was very difficult for me to take a bath, but then like I said I had to
compromise.
Since the failure of my plan last night, I had accepted that it was impossible for me to escape or even
try to escape.
So after eating breakfast, which a girl bought to me, I was staring at the riddle.
After no luck, I tried to match the riddle with my life.
'I am what sometimes bring you joy and sometimes sadness.
I am what you consider useless after sometime.
But I always leave an impact on you.
And this time, im here with a secret.
Who am I'
What bought me happiness and sadness at the same time?
Book.
What did I consider useless after sometime?
Myself.
What leaves an impact on me?
Book.
Book: 2/3
Myself: 1/3
I knew that maybe my answer wasn't correct, but it worth a try. And what other answer could you
expect from a nerd?
So in order to take my revenge from Ozymandius for chaining me up, I screamed at the top of my
lungs.
And within seconds, Ozymandius was there in his vampire speed, standing infront of me.
His hair was messy, and panic was evident on his face, bringing a smirk on my face.
"What happened?" he asked, running a hand through his hair.
"Nothing" I smiled.
And then his face became red, his fists clenched and his eyes turning back to the golden color, as he
started taking long steps towards me.
"Is the answer to that riddle a book?" I whispered, and then he stopped dead at his tracks.
