A Vengeful Girl

Chapter 253 Rosy‘s Failed Attempt At Mocking Linda

Chapter 253 Rosy‘s Failed Attempt At Mocking Linda

To Linda, the only reason why Rosy would visit was if she knew that someone was planning to push

her in the pond.

Otherwise, there was no reason for her to come visit her.

Rosy looked at Linda and said with a smile, "Hello, my name is Rosy Nalan. We've met before."

Of course, Linda remembered the day they met so vividly. It wasn't a pleasant one. That fact that Rosy

suggested otherwise amused Linda.

Linda clearly remembered that Rosy had torn off her mask rather rudely and mistook her for a servant

of the Nalan clan.

"You've met before?" Richard asked, curiously.

Before Linda could say a word, Rosy raced to answer the question, interlinking her hands with

Richard's.

"Yes, we met in the plum garden."

Linda smiled. She didn't reveal all the details, because, in her mind, what happened that day wasn't a

big issue.

"By the way, what's your name? I know that grandpa has adopted you. But from now on, we are sisters.

I heard that you fell into the pond. How are you feeling now?"

"Linda Nalan." Linda made up a name, with an agenda in mind. Lisa was pretending to be her and was

at the Mu's villa at present, and Linda wanted to investigate everything before she revealed the truth.

Richard knew she wanted to hide her identity, so he wasn't surprised to hear her respond with a fake

name.

Though Rosy complimented her on the surface, she cursed Linda for using the Nalan name.

To Rosy, Linda had no right to use the name because she wasn't a Nalan by blood.

The surname could be changed, but this fact could not.

"I know a famous doctor. His massages work wonders and I think it can help you expel the chilliness.

Shall I call him?"

Rosy said. Her voice was filled with deep concern, as if they were close sisters. But Linda could sense

the thought process behind that question. Her fall must have something to do with her.

"How fast the news travels. I fell into the pond, just a few minutes a go, and you already know about

it?"

Rosy looked even smugger.

She had guessed that Linda would relate the whole thing to her but she had no evidence. And besides,

Rosy was sure that grandpa wouldn't embarrass her, and Linda had no choice but to keep her

suspicions to herself.

Rosy smiled with satisfaction.

"Ah, my servant told me. She saw you being brought to these room. If the gossip offends you, I

sincerely hope that you'll excuse her."

She explained, rather matter-of-factly.

Linda didn't pester her. She believed that she would find out the truth, sooner or later, So she changed

the topic. "So, who is the doctor? When is he available?"

Rosy was speechless for a while. It never dawned on her that Linda would ignore her attempt at

mocking her and ask about the doctor.

Actually, she didn't know a doctor.

So she had to explain it away. "Well... he's very busy. I'll call him later, okay?"

"Thank you. Please do. I haven't been feeling well recently. If it's possible, I would like to book

appointments with the specialist doctor you are recommending. Can you help me with that Rosy?"

Linda asked, as she smiled.

"Okay." It was clear that Rosy was reluctant and embarrassed. Where would she find a specialist ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

doctor?

Richard also began to inquire about the doctor. "Rosy, how do you know the doctor? Is he

experienced? How long has he been practicing? I hope he isn't incompetent."

Rosy nodded awkwardly and said, "Don't worry, grandpa. I wouldn't have recommended him if he

wasn't the best of the best."

But Rosy was worried.

"Okay!" Richard nodded to show his approval. It seemed that Rosy had become more considerate than

before.

She was no longer the naughty girl who only cared for nothing but shopping.

"Well, grandpa, I should be going now."

Rosy felt the longer she stayed in the room, the more easily she would fell into the trap that Linda had

set. Anyway, her purpose was to inquire about Linda. Now that she had achieved her goal, it was better

for her to leave as soon as possible.

Soon after, she left in a hurry. After a while, when Richard confirmed that Linda's health was stable, he

left the room and ordered Nelson to investigate what happened.

Who dared push the Lady Linda into the pond?

And why would they?

Lily couldn't hold back her laughter when Richard and Rosy left.

Back when Lily was in college, Rosy and her close friends tended to bully and embarrass her because

of a boy.

Now it's payback time.

"Linda, I gotta hand it to you. She meant to piss you off, but unexpectedly you scared her away." Lily

praised Linda for her insightfullness as she smiled.

"I could tell why she had come here. Her foolish provocation won't go unnoticed with me." Linda shook

her head in resignation.

In her eyes, Rosy was terribly stupid.

'Is she really that confident that I won't find out evidence of her involvement?' thought Linda.

'What does she take me for?'

It's not wise to look down upon your enemy before you know their potential.

"She is so ridiculous. Maybe this is how she treats the servants, always turning her nose up at others."

Lily said, knowing too well the kind of person Rosy was.
