Sage looked up to see that Sunny and Jaxon had not left. Wondering why, she looked out. To her sight, she realized that it was Jace that stood in their way at the entrance

She frowned slightly and thought to herself, ‘Why is he everywhere I go?’

She sounded extremely cold and impatient. “We’re leaving now, goodbye, Miss Sage.” Sunny smiled and nudged Jaxon to hurry. The used towel was left by the door, and Jace was extremely furious looking at it.

He gritted his teeth and veins popped out of his forehead. His voice was laced with ice when he spoke, “Since when did you start to have unspoken rules?”

Unspoken rules?

Sage was dumbstruck but she quickly understood what he meant. The situation could be easily taken out of context, but Sage didn’t bother to explain herself to Jace.

“What’s that got to do with you?” She ignored him and kicked the towel back into the bathroom. Then, she called for the cleaning services and shut the door.

“Wait!” Jace blocked the door with his foot the moment she tried to close it. He realized that he must have misunderstood because when he looked at her, she had her clothes on and full makeup.

“I panicked just now. I know you’re not that kind of woman,” Jace’s eyes were slightly moistened and he pursed his lips, “He wasn’t even your type. You wouldn’t even consider him.

Jace was explaining his best that that was just a misunderstanding ; Sage was unfazed either ways.

“Mr. Yuriel, you seem to know me well.” She had a slight smirk but her tone remained cold,” Say your peace or say goodbye. I need to rest.” She was about to close the door the second time, but was disrupted yet again.

“Okay!” Jace blocked the door with his hand this time and he had an eager look on his face, “I want to ask you about Doctor S.”

Sage acknowledged and said, “Ask away.”

Jace was speechless, “Can I come in?”

“No.”
