Loosing It All
The other option is that I hand you over to the police and make you pay for your crime. The choice is yours. The clock is ticking.”
I turned and walked over to my table. And met it to my satisfaction. I sat down and faced Alexander.
He was deep in thought. I guess he was weighing his options. Ever since we were kids, I have always had to give in to his demands but not anymore.
This time, I have too much at stake to lose it all on him again. I’ve been planning this for years now and I can not allow anyone to ruin my plans.
“What should I do about Emily?” He asked me with tears dropping from his eyes. I was not buying that from him. I know him so much to call his bluff on their relationship. He has not kept a sane relationship ever since he was grown up enough to have one. His flings always come crying to me and I am always the one making up to them. I am done with that life.
I shrugged while looking at him in the eyes “what so ever you deem fit Alexander. She’s your wife and not mine.”
When he heard me say that, his countenance changed to that of anger, “how do you expect me to take care of a woman without having any money. She does not even know we are two. How do you expect her to take this?” He fumed.
“You put yourself in that mess because of your greed and you have no right to pass it to me.” I fired back at him.
“Look man, just keep her. She makes a fine wife and she is very submissive. You will like her Alexio.”
“And what is that supposed to mean?”Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
“She is the kind of woman you like. You remember how you use to cater for the ladies whose heart I broke back at high school. You’re always cleaning up after me and they are always willing to satisfy you.” He said sneering at him in a bid to rile me up.
I stood up and landed a mean punch on his face.
He laughed hysterically and shouted “yes that is it Alexio. Hit me again. You psycho!!! You are always after my bitches. Why not add this one to the list.”
He stopped to spit out blood from his mouth. The guys holding him down gagged him when I gave them the go ahead and they tossed him to a room inside my office. I am just thankful that my office is sound proof and nobody heard all his ranting except the guys with me and I trust them to keep their mouth shut.
If only he knew that I already had her because of his negligence, he will go berserk.
“On a second thought, clear the building. I want him to be very far away from me, else I might just end up killing him for sure.” I said to Damon.
Damon signalled to Michael and the boys and they got to work. It was almost time to close for the day. I had no intention to do any sort of work and I wanted to be done with everything that has to do with Alexander.
They brought up an announcement about a drill and before long the whole building was quiet. Alexander was brought out and I signaled them to bring him to the table.
“Here Alexander, you sign these papers. I’ll save you the trouble of embarrassing yourself. Michael why don’t you read it out to him. Just skip to what he has to do” I said, passing the papers to Michael.
Michael collected it from me and read. “You are to leave New York City and not come back. You’re to leave all you got here in the last 8 months in the name of Alex Pierce, owner of Pierce Enterprises. You are to have no contact with the Thorntons. You are to do this with immediate effect.” Michael rounded up his reading and passed the papers back to him to append his signature.
With a look of great contempt, he took the papers and signed on it. He turned to me and almost soat on me but he was stopped by Damon.
“O Alexander, your wedding band. I’ll need it to convince your wife in order to lay with her. Don’t you think so?”
He came back to the table and made a show of putting the ring down then he left my office. I don’t trust him to keep to his word because they mean nothing to him. I have seen him break his promise more time than I am willing to count.
Damon caught my eyes and signalled two of his men to trail him. The rest of the men went about to clean the office. I picked up the signed papers and put them in a file. Then I stepped out of the office and got in my car. There is still so much to do.
Alexander’s POV
To hell with Alexio. The fact that he has it all, the brains, the smartness, the luck has made him arrogant and cocky. But I was ready to pay him back.
I held my cheek. Man, the guy packs a lot of power in that one punch. It was foolish of me to rile him up I hailed an Uber on my phone and waited. I didn’t want to spend so much right now but I still have to impress Emily in order for my threats to work this time around.
When the ride came, I got in and sat comfortably and tried going through my plans in my head.
Eureka, I got it. I did not even had to think too far to get to the decision. Emily has always been a sucker for her dad’s company. She will do anything for the company.
When the Uber parked in front of the gate, I had to cajole him to go inside. I looked at the mirror and fixed my face.
